This week the Super League hits round19 and as the new eight team split format gets nearer we have new league leaders and only four points separates fourth spot from eighth.
Here are this weeks previews.
TIGERS v. SAINTS
After stunning the League Leaders last week the Tigers welcome the team who profited from it & took over top spot as the Saints visit the jungle.
Both sides will be confident after deservedly winning their respective derbies last time out and both have plenty to play for.
With players missing from both side more so the visitors you may expect a poorer game but I think it potentially will be a cracker.
We know both teams are capable of scoring some cracking tries and both have respectable kicking games but I think the Saints hold the edge up front.
It should be end to end with plenty of points but with Roby leading the way I think Saints will just shade it.

KR v. WOLVES
After dropping to 6th Wire travel to 10th placed Robins in need of a win to avoid a bigger gap growing between them and the top 4.
For the hosts a win will see them just 2pts behind the visitors and very much back in top 8 contention.
It’s another game with plenty for both teams to play for but I think injuries will prove costly to the hosts.
Despite both teams struggling for consistency I think the Wire will just have too much firepower in a points fest.
This really will be end to end but I think the hosts weak defence will be exposed by a fired up Wolves team.

WARRIORS v. DEVILS
After a derby defeat expect a Pie backlash so Dr Mouthpiece and his mercenaries will get the brunt of it.
The Devils may have some inside info from their Coach who used to be on the Pies staff but they aren’t good enough to exploit it.
Smiler Wane will be happier this week or at least as happy as a Coach can be with a fizzog like that.

DRAGONS v. WILDCATS
A training run for the Frenchmen and a chance to improve their points diff.
They may be improving under their new coach but they won’t have enough to get the win.

RHINOS v. FC
After a woeful performance and deserved defeat last week the Blue n Amber welcome the B&W’s to HQ.
Irrespective of sitting 2nd after squandering a 6pt lead at the top of the table the hosts form has been poor with only 2 wins in 7 SL games.
Despite a loss in France last week FC have been in much better form and will still be confident of exploiting the hosts lack of confidence and more importantly lack of cohesion.
With these 2 due to meet again in the CC next week both sides will be determined to lay a marker down.
Despite losing top spot and some disjointed performances I think the Rhinos will start their recovery this week and take the points in a hard fought grind.

VIKINGS v. GIANTS
The hosts are 5pts behind the 4th placed visitors and sit 1pt outside the top 8 so they will be determined not to get cut further adrift.
The visitors had a good win v Wire which took them 2pts clear of the Wolves and into that coveted top 4.
Both sides can attack and score points for fun and the hosts are tough to beat on their patch which should make it a close game.
It could go either way but I think the visitors have a stronger defence which will prove to be the difference and secure the win.
