BULLS v. WARRIORS
A tough fixture for Mcbanana and his Manly rejects.
The Pies are on a roll and even though they were outplayed at times against
a good Wire outfit on their last away day, they showed a good quality of
digging in and finishing their chances when they arose.
As for the Bulls they really haven't clicked yet and already there's a great
deal of weight on Orfords shoulders.
More woe for the Odsal few imo.

FC v. TIGERS
I see a tough encounter at the KC, the Airlie Birds looked really tough and
took their chances well when beating Saints a few weeks back but have since
lost to the Crusaders, and although they dispatched Quins without any
problems it's hard to gauge if they are the "real deal" this year. How
many games they get out of "Stig" Long could well determine how successful
they eventually are.
Cas on the other hand have been average at best since winning their cup
final at HQ. They were out-played by a mis-firing bulls outfit and blew a
good lead twice against HKR at home. Losing Owen is a big blow to them, and
although young Ainscough scored a hat-trick he's as likely to cost one as
well.
Close but no cigar for the tiggers.

RHINOS v. QUINS
The lads are back on "home soil" (literally) this week after a sterling
effort in defeat to the Storm.
They defended like Trojans and started to like they were getting their
"Mojo" back, and although it was gutting to lose there's plenty to build on
and kick on for the rest of the season.
Missing Sinny, Ablett and Scotty D is a blow but we have depth within this
squad to cope and now's the time to step it up. As for Brian Mc's team other than looking like a packet of refreshers last
week there were no other bright spots for them. A small squad which is already threadbare with absentees and lacking real
quality.
As a side issue seeing how young Bjb gets on against his employers will be
interesting but I expect another long trip down the M1 with their behinds
slapped.
Nothing mighty about the Quins this week.

REDS v. DRAGONS
A real basement battle at The Willows this week a Reds outfit who seem to be
improving every week whilst the Frenchman stutter from one beating to the
next. Walters' men really are missing the mercurial Bosc and the un-replaced
Bird.
As for McRaes boys they did OK at HQ, went well against the Bulls by all
accounts, if they have everyone fit this could be their 1st home win of the
year.
More travel sickness for Catalans.

WILDCATS v. GIANTS
Should be a good game at Belle Vue as both teams have started with confidence
and have proved tough to beat.
For the home team the platform laid by Tronc, Obst and co. will be vital for
Brough to impose his talents on this match and I expect them to be well
matched upfront by this no-nonsense Giants pack.
A real tough one to call and it will come down to whichever HB pairing can
take advantage of the respective packs efforts and take the few chances
available.
They might be Giants but I think the Wildcats will show their claws just.

KR v. SAINTS
A game that the Robins seem to always perform in when they welcome Concrete
boots Wellens and his men to Craven Park, although this year they really
haven't got going. A close win away at Cas couldn't hide their problems
or dis-jointed efforts thus far though they will welcome the addition of
Clinton to a pack lacking depth.
I expect Saints to win here after their surprising home defeat to Hull they
have bounced back and showed they are still a good side when they were 12
down early last week against a flying Wakey outfit.
Home misery for Morgans men.

WOLVES v. CRUSADERS
Tony Smith is stamping his mark all over the big spending Wire out-fit and
the employment of OJ's Lawyer when messrs Morley and Carvell transgress was
a master stroke.
The taffys have shown a lot more than people expected thus far, me included,
and Nobby is having an impact on his rag tag outfit of mis-fits and the
unloved.
This is an away fixture too tough for the Wrexham men and I expect them to
come away with nothing.
